8月29日讯 C罗在北京时间21日晚上约21点开通了自己的YOUTUBE（“油管”）个人频道，粉丝数2天不到突破3000万人，当前已达5070万。
因直播《GTA5》和《NBA2K》系列而出名的网红Adin Ross在谈及此事时则表示：“如果勒布朗在今晚开通他的油管个人频道，他的粉丝数三天内就能达到5000万。这是事实。很抱歉，但这就是事实。”
值得一提的是，勒布朗-詹姆斯虽然是篮坛领军人物，在Instagram上拥有多达1.6亿粉丝，但他的社交媒体影响力仍然落后于梅西、内马尔等多位足球明星，而C罗更是以6.4亿粉丝而问鼎Instagram最具人气运动员。
作为参考，勒布朗-詹姆斯与JJ-雷迪克合作的现有YOUTUBE播客频道“Mind the Game”拥有65.4万名粉丝。
