8月29日讯 在谈到国足提前集中备战世预赛时，记者宋承良认为，国足水平差不学习还自以为是搞另外一套。
9月的世预赛亚洲区18强赛，中国队将客场挑战日本队以及主场迎战沙特队，国足于8月23日在大连集中备战这两场比赛，也成为小组首支备战18强赛的球队。按照计划，国足9月2日一早从大连飞赴东京，备战5日与日本的比赛。
对于国足提前集中备战，记者宋承良写道：“日本队今天公布18强赛名单， 而我们国足已经集训一周了，这几天在上量训练，国际比赛日和世预赛都是周末联赛结束，然后集训三四天周四打比赛，为什么我们非要搞提前集训，水平好的国家人家都是通行的公认的一套，我们水平差不学习还自以为是搞另外一套，这怎么能行？前两天看到一个真实的段子，中国队是18强赛最早集训备战的，怎么说呢，有点可笑。”
